Steven Morrissey, formerly of the 80s post-synth, pre-alt rock band The Smiths, has a variety of solo work under his pompadour. In a letter to fans, Morrissey apologized for missing a plethora of 2009 concert dates due to a throat condition, but made up for the disappointment by
announcing some exciting Moz news. Following the release of his 2009 effort, Morrissey is preparing to release Sworda, a compilation of 18 B-Sides assembled from his past three records, including You Are the Quarry Ringleader of the Tormentors, and Years of Refusal.
